  3. This is first time I am posting to this group, so forgive me if I'm 
  4. doing anything wrong.
  5.  
  6. I've just seen a news report about a UFO report in Ballymena, made by a 
  7. farming family. This is the first sighting I have ever heard of here in 
  8. the North, only previously hearing about USA/UK sightings on 
  9. mainstream TV documentary shows. As the reporter pointed out, the area 
  10. is a level-headed farming community which makes the report all the more 
  11. interesting.

  13. The woman said that her son came into the living room and called them 
  14. outside to see the UFO. After some effort the son managed to get his 
  15. father and mother to come oustide to the back yard. A floating object 
  16. about 40foot wide emitting light, and with what the woman described as 
  17. arms with extra lights which as she put it 'appeared to breath' and 
  18. spin around was hovering above their yard. The object then zoomed away 
  19. at high speed.   Since the story was run in the local paper 'The 
  20. Ballymena News' 16 more people have contacted the reporter with 
  21. sightings. No sound was given off by the hovering object.

  23. I have to say, the whole story however incredible does appear to come 
  24. from a 'normal' country family. I do feel that 'something' must have 
  25. occured.... but what was it....?

  27. Any more info. on this sighting on the 'net?  Any thoughts/ideas for a
  28. scientific reason to explain what the family saw.
